Heather Reynolds start anywhere you want no specific order except Mistborn it’s Mistborn then alloy of law but other than that start anywhere. People recommend reading Elantris first because it’s his first book and his writing just gets better as they go along . That’s all up to you and the series is called the cosmere novels.

Hi Heather, Elantris is a little bit intimidating to start with. I suggest you'd go for Skyward or Mistborn Book 1 Era 1. Then you can read Elantris next or Warbreaker. :) As of now Mistborn has 6 books. First 3 is the first trilogy Mistborn Era 1. The 4th-6th books belong to Era 2. But the 4th book is just a bridge book. The 5th and 6th books are the official 1st and 2nd installments for Era 2. The 3rd book for Era 2 will be released (hopefully) end of next year.

I’m reading Warbreaker right now and I gotta say I find the characters much more vibrant and full of life than the Mistborn characters (1st trilogy). I think Warbreaker might be a great book to test if you like Brandon Sanderson’s writing. After Regan’s reaction tho I’m excited to continue with Mistborn!

One of the big things I miss about living overseas is the awesome Christmas markets they have over there! A lot of them were MASSIVE, and we'd spend all day walking around eating candied nuts and drinking hot cider! I just picked up the first book in the Mistborn trilogy today, really excited to start it since you've read and enjoyed so much Brandon Sanderson this year.

hey! how difficult is the French in the original? im not a huge fan of reading translations and I'd like to try and read the original, but sadly my French isn't the best. would it be alright for someone with about 70% fluency?

Hey! According to me it's not the most difficult book to read if you're motivated. Christelle Dabos's way of writing is a bit "formal/heavy" and some lexical fields may be a bit complicated, but on the whole it's okay. It's a wonderful story, when you read it I hope you like it.

​@@harkeerat2971 I've only read a little of the French edition (I actually just switched from the English translation to the original because I wasn't liking it) and as someone who has around the same fluency level at the moment, I don't think it's too bad at all. I mean there are a few moments where I'm baffled by a bit of the vocabulary (I think some of it is just a little unfamiliar to me), but it seems easier than I was anticipating.

You should get one of the felt puzzle mats. It lets you roll your puzzle up and put it away without all the pieces falling all over the place. I've recently gotten back into puzzles and have 3 kids and 4 cats, so can't leave it sitting around all the time.. lol Great vlog! You're making me need to get around to reading Mistborn soon. Maybe that will be one of my goals for 2019.

those never worked for me lol, maybe I just didn't have the right one? while storing my puzzles, I make them on this huge dry erase board ive had since I was little and then push it under my bed. it unfortunately cant hold anything larger than 1000 pieces, so for the rest I just occupy the dining room table and make everyone else in my family eat somewhere else lmao

The Bookish Ginger those are helpful, my only suggestion for those is getting preferably a white or otherwise light coloured one. I’ve seen some that come in these rainbow sets and while they look nice, it might distract you from the colours of the pieces themselves.
