I just finished The Starless Sea and loved it. Plan to take a little time with it and just absorb how lovely and magical the language is. Its kind of a winding, meandering story but with language like that, she can take me wherever she wants.

Also! I 2020 is your year of audiobooks, bc 2019 was mine (I read like 16+ books one month bc of them!) I highly HIGHLY recommend the Nevermoor series on audiobook (I know you’ve read the first already, can’t remember if you’ve gotten to the second) the narrator is SO GOOD! All of her character voices are so distinct and delightful and there’s little splices of music in between chapters it just brings me so much joy. Seriously. (I’m currently halfway in book 2, and loving it, obviously, lol)

Lol tell me about being so tired after the holiday break! Lol I went from a 3 day work week to working 57 hours (usually only do 40-44) which included working on a Saturday which I’ve never had to do before with my current job. Hey Regan/Regan’s subscribers, I recently bought City of Bones in a used bookstore thinking I would finally read the series and quickly became overwhelmed at all the books in the Shadowhunters Chronicles - does anyone have suggestions on what order to read them in? ie do I finish the entire Mortal Instruments series and then go to the prequels, etc.

Alaina Hiteshew I read the whole Mortal Instruments before I moved on, but I think I would’ve gained more from the story if I read it in order of publication just because you could get slightly spoiled. However, I think you should do whatever makes you comfortable and less overwhelmed! Have fun reading!

emmmabooks' channel is the way to go for anything shadowhunter related!! I'd personally recommend publication order because you'd be consuming the story as it was conceptualised and you can't get spoiled at all

Melissa Rose yes they count audiobooks! you have to go to the different editions but you put what part you’re on instead of what page you’re in :) hope this helps!
