Falling Into Infinity is definitely one of their more complex albums in terms of production - took me a long time to appreciate that.

Excellent material. I hope u carry on analysing all DT albums out there

Amazing stuff. These videos have really expanded by enjoyment of Falling into Infinity. Lines in the Sand is a favourite, but I always didn't rate the rest of the songs that much. Learning to play them has made me appreciate them much more. I love the layering on the guitar tracks, definitely stealing ideas for my own stuff. Thanks again for amazing content. Completely agree about the melodic JP playing, my favourite part of his style.

Yeah I'm finding this album to have tons of charm that no other DT album has which is really shooting it up my rankings. Lines in the Sand is one of my favorites as well. Thanks again, man.

This series is making me appreciate Derek SNESridian much more than I previously had. Great video!

When I was younger I always thought he was the 'bad' keyboardist until a few years ago when I came back to the stuff with him and realized he has the most style out of all of them. Just keep him away from Metropolis pt. 1 and we're all good haha The stuff he plays on these songs is badass.

Dude the work you put into these videos are insane, really don't see anyone doing alot of theory breakdown in these kind of tutorials either, waiting for you to blow up. Also have you planned on doing ''A dramatic turn of events''? The ''Lost not forgotten'' unison around the 2 minute mark has been driving me insane, even at really slow tempos it's still somewhat alien. Maybe it's because i haven't practised 1 note per string stuff xD. Ps. you remind me of Mike the music snob/Become the knight, just a tad bit more joyful and educational. TLDR: Love the vids, keep it up and please show me the way through Petrucci's madness

I will indeed be keeping it up, thanks a lot for that I appreciate it. The channel is growing slowly but surely. I don't do all that much topical stuff on here so it'll be way slower than doing say.. CURRENT EVENT OMG DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THIS AND THAT?!?! But you know what, the real ones still find it and that's what it's all about.

Hi roman! amazing as always! an lil coment here (with all due respect), from solo section 1 your voice gets some reverb wich can be a lil anoying.
@RomanovaMusick10 ай бұрын
I didn't notice it until now but I think my voice is traveling through the guitar and activating the reverb tank in my Amp lol..
@joselorenzopaez10 ай бұрын
@@RomanovaMusick ohhhh. Are your pickups ok? Which pickups do you have on that guitar?
@RomanovaMusick9 ай бұрын
@@joselorenzopaez Yeah they're fine, they're the original Steve's Special and Air Norton. I think my little mesa amp is sensitive to any outside noise. I hardly ever use the reverb on the amp anyway.
