I had alexander arnold and Haaland in the same team. I was using the L1 curved crossing .Everytime haaland was catching it easily

hug sideline and centering target helps but should be ok even without them. can use attacking fullback too. in the Leicester clip where vardy scored, only wing rotation was on.

try using the scissor feint/step over. its easy to get a foul if the opponent get close. R2+RS then LS. I got some clips on that in one of my video.

professional difficulty would be a good place to start. its not that aggressive, so you can play around a bit. when you get used to the control and timing, you can try top player or superstar.

From my experience, holding r2 make the player better at shielding the ball. But, it could just be placebo

R2+cross will make your cross high. 1. you can use this if your opponent block your passing lane and need to do a lofted pass. 2. you can also use it when you get inside the penalty box. normal cross or low pass can be intercepted or caught by the keeper. 3. goal kick with R2 will make the ball go high making it easy for your target man to head the ball to other player.
