@@reggiemiller6274 Fax Reggie I never understood why my people in NY allow Dominicans and Puerto Ricans to say the N-word when in fact, if you go look at their own country, the Black people that are there are treated poorly by their Puerto Rican and Dominican. Citizen. There is racism in all of these Hispanic countries, when you call the Puerto Rican black? They are so quick to get upset as if it is something wrong that’s how ingrained it is in them even the ones who are black if you call them Afro-Puerto Rican they get upset.

On some real sh*t I rock heavy with latinos we are the same just different skin tones. Struggles the same only difference is again skin tone. Cultures alittle but for the most point we grew up together ate together and struggled together. Our moms and grandparents experienced the same things our fathers uncles were taken from us and our mothers had to hold to down. Our uncles neighborhood OG's and grandpa was our male role models. So for any blacks to get offended is crazy. We believe in unity we believe on God's will that we are the same and we love and respect each other as such so for a word we made famous to get offended if our brown brothers same it is dumb as sh*t.

It shouldn't be any other way. Black and Brown cultures are the only cultures that are homegrown in the Americas. They aren't the same, but their stories run parallel. Read the first English novel Oroonoko to see how. Brown people's ancestors, however, were slaves on this hemisphere before Black people's ancestors and did not get free until after them, too. Brown people are also the product of mass rape slavery. The Spanish didn't bring any women. Also, in early colonialism, both the n-word (hard er) and "Black" were applied to all people of color the Euros conquered. The earliest usage is applied to East Indians. Any victims of colonialism can claim that word using the same exact reasoning that Black people do. Why any would want to, though, is another question. Studies show that it hurts Black men's self-esteem every time they use it, even if as a so-called "term of endearment." Imagine if women started calling each other "whores." Even if as a term of endearment, 50 years later, and I guarantee we would have more women acting like whores.
