@@DarkLightGaming117 Im only lvl 24, but have been plying tarkov for the past 3 years. there is no way to know how experienced a player is. given that the game wipes so often using lvl's to judge experience is one of the stupidest thing i've herd all year.

This happened to me a long while back I was quite new to the game and this random pmc protected me the whole raid gave me his couch backpack full of gear, decked HK with m995s then when we got to extract he killed me and took the look he literally used me like a camel and that’s honestly the realest expectation of tarkov you’ll get 😂

With scav karma introduced, and big tarkov players like pest or lvndmark beeing nice very often, these interactions become much more frequent. Even i don't give a shit on loot anymore, at least not that much. Having fun is having way more valuable. But it's totally justified to go on a rampage for an hour or two when someone backstabs you.

Yesterday I ran into a scav on interchange and we did the trade ritual and I was about to bounce and another scav player showed up and I last second decided to follow them. Eventually we ran into another scav and had a huge exchange and since there were 4 of us we ran to the gunstore where we found 2 more scavs and we all proceeded to strip the entire area of everything and then extract together. Must have been the very next scav raid I did, I went to gunstore alone and 2 PMCs were inside and they gave me the entire store and just shut the door and left.

Yesterday I was trying to get my pistol kill quest done on factory and ran into a chad. He blacked my arms and legs because I shot him from behind. Once he saw I had no armor he spammed "hold your fire" and gave me meds! I completed my quest that raid. Random influx of friendly encounters since scav karma and also since VOIP is being added 12.12 patch.

I‘m so bad at this game even my friends don‘t like playing with me. Noobs really don‘t stand a chance. Can‘t wait until I can look back on this shitty time and laugh about it, because right now, getting map knowledge and questing while thicc Altyn boys with thermals one tap me is NOT fun. It feels like I‘m running down a busy race track full of drunk drivers trying not to get run over. EDIT: Also, I‘m not crying about it. I understand this is what the game is supposed to be like and I don‘t feel like getting „bullied“ as some people call it when I get shot in the head with BP ammo in dorms after carefully planning my next steps to get out of there. I appreciate the struggle and I like the game. I‘m just saying, getting started and getting stomped on while trying to get anywhere else than rock bottom is not what most people would pay money for.

I've got a friend that is pretty new to the game and I think you did a good job of describing why it's both difficult and frustrating to get started. I'm curious, what aspect of gameplay do you feel is the toughest for you, as a newer player (learning the maps/extracts? getting used to the gunplay? stuff like that). And is there anything that you think your buddies might be able to do to help make the game either easier to learn, or at least more enjoyable?

Bro, I'm at almost 3000 hours and I have learned no one really gets good at this game, you just suck a little less the more you play. lol. But yeah map knowledge is honestly probably the biggest thing to learn first. Hopefully Pestily does another Raid series. Might even be helpful to watch last seasons. Just keep at it man, enjoy the suck :)

I feel your pain, bro. I couldn't not die for a while. Then like six raids into this wipe I don't know what happened, but I could just suddenly play pretty well? It was like a switch flipped. Slaughtered dorms a couple times and I was really confused 😂 Idk why, but I just started playing better without even really thinking about it. Now I'm WAY ahead of where I ever was. @@its_trenner2900 well sometimes you can learn a route really well, but sometimes you get reminded that you were just getting lucky not running into the wrong person. I had a really solid dorms phase 2 wipes ago, trying to re-emulate that mid-early wipe last wipe wore me down enough to where I ended up just sitting out that wipe. this wipe is going way better, although I am only lvl 16. But I have only had time to play maybe 2-3 raids 3 times a week, so I am not to beat up about it.

I'm totally new to Tarkov. More often than not I've given everyone I've essentially known I wont outduel the chance to be friendly. I've had a duo group give me a chance to live, but not much else. Often times I'll just cover scavs who are looting while I be their lookout. I also still have that problem of really identifying a real guy and a PMC quickly enough to not die. It would be nice if this game had proper voice chat so I could just make my intent known a lot easier, but oh well. I don't expect anyone to lay off low levels like me who are just strictly looting/leveling but I really enjoy the thrill of just living through raids. Blog over.

Had something similar happen. Came across a Tim Tim with his starter PP19 and PACA. He exchanged rounds with my duo. But once I realized he was a lower level, I wobbled. He wobbled in return. I led him towards construction near the bus stop. Shot a few scavs, told him to loot and went on my way to dorms, where I was promptly stomped by 2 high level players because I packed my mags with PSO GZH instead of PST.

I really wish this game didn't have as many hackers as it does, and that weapons wouldn't shoot like lasers when you're super heavy after moving. The reason I say this is it's hard to tell between hacker, and a good/lucky shot. But when my Altyn face-shield gets 30 spiders on it from some guy 30-40m away hitting every single shot on my face while full auto is just killing the game for me at the moment. Remove all skills and their bonus make it impossible to get recoil below 80 and the game would be so much more Realistic, and less like COD> people with elite skills have superhuman ability's to throw grenades like 90 meters away, sprinting full speed while wearing over 30KG of armor and still being able to bring your weapon to your face in .5 sec and aim perfectly even holding breath.... naaaa man. if this is where the game is going I'm out.

I agree. I can't get my head around the whole logic of the skills system. It makes it so people that are better, get even better with passive skills - but the people that are not as good, or behind in the wipe, struggle. Its kind of like a role playing system where normally it's PVE and the enemies get tougher as you get better - but that's not what happens here. You just keep on getting better, making it easier to stomp the little guy. Id love to see it move to a much more realistic movement/combat style to go with the awesome gun selection. Guys wearing 30 kilos of armour, bouncing on to bins, over fences, and then onto a hill whilst firing a fully automatic weapon accurately at a target over 50 metres away really takes away from the realism of the game.
