Once the trap is set the safety catch is free to open, so be careful.

I'm looking to buy one of these as I didn't really enjoy trap and shoot. Does it get the instantly?

Extremely effective and efficient traps. Especially if used in a tunnel (as the law states in UK).

I remember them from the 1970s I think they called them ginn traps.

Ginn traps are illegal in the uk nowadays.

@@PestInterceptors yes they had teeth on them , we also could buy snares in hardware shops back then

Gin traps are different altogether , they were used to catch rabbits by the feet and not kill them so that when they were collected the meat was fresh . They were often set where cats and dogs could get caught . As already stated they are now illegal to use but Google vintage traps and click on images and you will see them for sale

My landlord has bait stations that he doesn't attend to, honestly I would not want it to die under the house
@PestInterceptors Жыл бұрын
@wonder7798 they are probably completely empty if not attended to. Snails and slugs will have eaten the bait.

They were in former swift nests waiting for the birds to fly into nest, killing and eating them

Don’t really understand what you’re saying there Mike.
