Taylor can you make a video telling your fans not to buy fish bowls? I've scrolled through several comments where people have them yet claim to love animals. For any who don't know: Fish bowls are not good environments for any fish... Not goldfish, not Bettas/Vietnamese Fighters not anything! They could home some invertebrates but still aren't ideal... This is because the shape of the bowl cause the fish to not grow on the exterior but continue to do so inside themselves. This leads to their scales eventually splitting open and their organs piling out. That is just one of several reasons why they are not appropriate homes. Could you also manage to tie in the correct way to start a tank just to make sure they get the message?

Oliver D. She doesn't seem to understand her name. Dogs are supposed to have preferably, names with one syllable, but no more than two syllables. It's easier for them to understand. Dogs understand us based on tones, pitches, etc. Her name is a bit too long for her to really understand. I'm sure a lot of people will reply to my comment saying their dogs name was named "teechochachunleelad" and their dog understands, I'm speaking for the average dogs perception.

the thing i like about the species that spend most of their time hiding is that you can set up the flora and decor of their enclosure to be a standalone viewpiece in and of itself... give the animals the things they need and want, and just arrange it all so it looks like a beautiful terrarium/aquarium thats beautiful just to look at on its own. plus, the hidden species are somehow very peaceful to me, very emotionally quelling.... live vicariously through them for a little bit and its easy to see that its a very tranquilizing, almost soporific way to spend your time. theyre great company, if you ask me. ^w^

When talking about your dusting, instead of using a calcium with d3 Everytime You should really be using a calcium with no d3 and then once every week dust using a multivit that has d3 in it (an amazing one is the one by vetark or the exoterra multivit) using the method of calcium and d3 they can overdose on d3 and are missing out on other vitimins they need. They wont not die not using multivit but they are not going to be the healthiest and because they have a short lifespan keeping them as healthy as possible is rlly important PLEASE LIKE SO TAYLOR SEES

Hey, here's a tip I thought all you might wanna know: Croc Skinks LOVE coconuts, coconut husks, and the like. You can scatter some coconut husk and coconut shavings around their enclosure, they're sure to love it. (You can find coconut shell huts at pet stores as dens for them to live in!) These particular skins also love waxworms and earthworms. Pretty convenient for all the back-yard frequenters.

If you really need to know , I would highly recommend watching The Dark Den. 99% of his collection is just Tarantulas, He shows how to re-house them, the type of fiber he uses and habitats that he builds. He also gives descriptions and names of each tarantula, what they are like and how to keep them from bolting and how to re house them calmly with out stressing the tarantula out. He's amazing.

Thomas, I am not seeing your comment on this thread but I would have to assume that for your T having issues with molting, it would be due to the lack of humidity. What type of tarantula is it? I could tell you what type of humidity it would need. Also, signs of premolt are a dark blue/black abdomen (butt) and at this time, I would increase the humidity slightly, especially because your T is having trouble molting. Make sure your T have access to water (without rocks or anything in it, the tarantula will not drown, the rocks are usually for crickets, but you shouldn't really give it the change to do so.

For keeping the humidity in a screen lid tank I used the shrink plastic kit thats used for winterizing windows in your home. I just cut the plastic as I needed, used the double sided tape to tape it down the used the blowdryer to shrink the plastic tight to the lid. It works rather well. They sell the kits at most hardware and stores like walmart.
