Pet cube looks like the best option! I rescued a chihuahua from the streets a year ago. She’s very loving and loves attention 🥺🥰 I recently started working full time and next semester I’m going to school full time and I would love this so I can keep an eye on her throughout the day so she doesn’t feel so lonely.

Great review! I bought a Furbo without really checking it out beforehand. After just ONE "toss" the Furbo mechanism simply locked up and couldn't be unlocked. I returned it to Amazon that very day and bought the PetCube Lite 2 for almost half-as much. The PCL2 is a better engineered device; the app is much better than the Furbo; and the features far surpass the Furbo.

Hey! Just got a great pyrenees puppy who was raised on a farm, and was mostly kept outside. Any tips on house breaking a dog that's used to just going wherever?
@analarson29205 жыл бұрын
Yes short leash them to you for at least 2 weeks and about every 2 hours take them out. When the go pee praise and treat heavily same with poo. After 2 weeks you see their pattern and you can let the leash go for short times with the same schedule. Slowly back off the leash. This takes weeks to do and see kikopup for more details. Emily does a great job on positive training. This dog will need a job and constant play\ training which should be fun for you and them. This is a working breed especially from a farm so too exercise diet and love will make for a great healthy loving dog. It will help you too. See also Pam's dog Academy. Prayers for your journey

I’m getting a service dog prospect over the summer, winning the pet cube would be awesome so that I could keep an eye on the pup while at school! Thanks for the giveaway
@analarson29205 жыл бұрын
Why would you leave a puppy alone especially a service dog? If you plan on doing that you should reconsider having a service dog. They are to be with you pretty much 24/7 especially as puppies. You may want to get help as service dog ownership is very demanding. I speak from decades of active experience. Prayers for your journey.
@petrishalee23155 жыл бұрын
Ana Larson thanks for your feedback, I will be taking one class over the summer at a community college, the class will be 2 hours a day. During the 2 hours, my mom will be home and able to watch the puppy. Having the pet cube will be super useful so I could check on the puppy for the 2.5 hours I’m not at home, and any other quick trip when I’m not at home. My mother will also help with the service dog ownership as I learn to be the best service dog handler possible 😀

@@petrishalee2315 that is awesome. Videos that are helpful: kikopup, Pam's dog academy, doggie dojo, chronically jaquie for positive training. Dr Dobias, Karen Becker and Richard Pitcairn have good info on cooked and raw feeding. I kept daily records on a computer document and weighed in my pup weekly to assess good weight gain for her age until one and breed and she is now 3 years old and just tweaking her training to do more intense places. We did minimum vaccines and no chemicals. Pine needle tea is good only need 1/2 teaspoon per 15lbs for good health, we got rid of Lyme disease this way and her labs are clear despite tick bites. The antibiotics caused her to lose 2 teeth so we stopped that. Hope anything here helps. Prayers for your journey.
@petrishalee23155 жыл бұрын
Ana Larson thanks for all the tips! I used to watch chronically Jackie before I knew I was getting a SD prospect. I hope she is in a better place now 🙏. Do you have an instagram so I can follow you and your pup? If you have time, I have a few questions. - how much have you spent in total on your dog/ cost breakdown for everything? - was your dog from a breeder? (I will most likely be paying $3,500 for a pure bread [1/2 English, 1/2 American] golden retriever, is that reasonable?) - tips for the first week home? Thanks!
@analarson29205 жыл бұрын
@@petrishalee2315 sorry no I don't do much social media, things have been crazy here, maybe within a year or so. Cost, not counting food first year was $2000 that includes vet for vaccines, boarding and spaying. We only paid $200, not a breeder. Try to wait as long as you can to spay/fix watch Dr Karen Becker on it, better for health, make sure you have a nice vet you can talk to and helpful but not pushy. The cost does not include food, and my dog came from a working farm so I met the parents and he was not a breeder so it was a chance for me as I needed a pushy active dog that was smart my fam also helps with her. Otherwise what you are doing seems reasonable. The more you know about the dog, the parents, the breeders, the food and so on the better. If they do shots ask for copy of the details. My farmer we used made a copy of the label, he had done it himself as many breeders/farmers may do. That can be risky. We detoxed her right away with thuja, vets Dobias, Becker, Pitcairn and Andrew Jones go over vaccines and detox. Another source is dogs naturally magazine done by vets see KZbin and their website. Also Jaquie, rest her soul, has some videos on picking sd breeders and dogs. Best tip for week 1 see kikopup. Be around, be regular, be patient and make sure everything is set up before pup comes home and the whole household should be on the same page as you for consistency. I short leash my dogs right away and we do everything together and high praise for potty time and use the same words. Right a list on the fridge if you need to. Prayers to your journey and best of the best. Ps-collars only for tags no prongs or chains, use a good harness that is best for your pup and you. My dog need natural fiber or she got pink and rashy. 😁

Hi Rachel Wanted to get your Feedback on a Pet Cam which we are also buiding. Let me know how we can get in touch?
@jimwhall66093 жыл бұрын
I've had one for over a year now. The good: A) It's well built B) It can hang on a wall C) The treat dispenser nominally works. D) The Camera can be decent. The bad: A) This product is *very* sensitive to WiFi quality. It doesn't like to be on WiFi mesh networks either. So you're either close enough to the router, or not. B) So far as I can tell Night Vision doesn't mean a thing. If the lights are out, even with a night light this thing is a dark square on your phone. C) The treat flinger is pretty sensitive to treat size and consistency. D) Not sure how, but I lost the turntable to the treat flinger; so mine doens't work now. They offered to send another one (good!) but then support was polite but bad. They constantly kept trying to close the ticket if I didn't respond right away. Despite several times trying to verify the part I needed, which took days, they sent the wrong one. There is only email support so far as I can see. E) Sometimes, it just stops working. A full system reset and flush of the app on your phone fixes it. But, well, for a camera that just sits there that seems a bit extreme. And if you need it and it doesn't work that sucks.

I'm sorry but you seem fake. I do currently own a petcube play 2, it was a prime exclusive when I bought mine.... So I bought it at launch. I just got a petcube bites 2 2020 model.. I'm very happy with the cube. Know I have 2 of them! However you seen fake, I'm saying this as a fan of petcube. 2.4 vs 5 wifi? That's not a real world selling point! You had and have no idea at all why you said that or what that means. Yes 5ghz is faster.. but it does not travel near as far or go through walls. Oh but you say that is why? No lol 2.4 has way more than enough bandwidth 150 mbps. Your sending a 1080p video stream. 20ish mbs max. 150mbs is about as fast as most ppls whole internet... And all 5ghz routers I know still support 2.4.... which again goes further... maybe less ppl are even on 2.4 now because 5 is popular. My cube is likely to be on 2.4 right now. It's more stable at longer distances. Yeah it has 5ghz but really it doesn't matter, the cube doesn't send that much data.. and my router cares less what frequency it wants. There's more channels to pick on 2.4... it's less clustered.... ONLY reason you might care is if your home is Full of 2.4 ghz devices using 150mbs. That's so so unlikely at all! If it's newer than like 2013 ish it has 5ghz. So unless you have some strange old win 7 machine... where you can't get a 5ghz USB adapter... idk Iphone 4? I phone 5 has 5ghz! So what devices do you have your 2.4ghz is full? OK maybe your outside in your backyard far away on 2.4 with many devices... However outside they don't get good signal or full signal so they can't use all that bandwidth... Plus if your really trying to push alot of data far you get a repeater to boost you 5ghz signal outback... You know to go with that 200 dollar pet cam you can afford! And the 100 bucks a year sub for each cam... These ppl don't own or have many 2.4 devices at all.... Your just repeating marketing.... It doesn't matter at all in your home! I only seen a small portion but your not one of those. Set your stuff to 2.4 and you'll see it doesnt matter for your performance. Don't say stuff you don't know cause then the rest looks fake as well... Or please you give me a real example how 5 vs 2.4 makes any difference for you at all! If anything 2.4 can be better for it's range. If this was a 4k cam... maybe 5ghz is essential but... your just saying what they want you to. So they had a big list and you followed it? I'll read their site next time and skip the middle man.
