Can ANYONE HELP. I am having issues installing as keep getting intermittent faults (beaks) with a buried wire. It’s very thin not sure how it’s breaking as can’t see it sometimes. Question is: I have a chain link fence around my property, can I use this INSTEAD of the buried wire? I can work out the physics of it in terms of making sure there are two wires going to the transmitter with no interference but just don’t know if the fence (assuming it’s connected up correctly etc) will act in place of the buried wire? Thoughts please?

I wouldn't ask these guys. They didn't even talk about running the wiring from the transmitter to the exterior of the house.

I don't see why not, it's just a big giant wire. You just need to make sure the galvanized coating is removed for a good connection and then protect the connection well from corrosion.
