does the receiver plug into a wall outlet? and does the wire fence have to make a complete circle? Meaning one wire out of the receiver to make the perimeter and then back into the receiver?

If there is a flowerbed in my garden that is round but I do not want the dog to cross it, can I rotate this rope to form a circle and continue on?

I'm actually trying to remove the invisible fence, just bought this home i don't have dogs. There is a black wire running across the slab crevice in the driveway, i don't know if this is part of the fence or something else. appears to be a black copper wire single conductor stranded. Rip it out?

Ok.....I would like to add this to a backyard in the city thats has three sides of 6 foot chain link fence and the 4th side a regular wooden fence. I have one cat who constantly jumps the fence into neighbors yard, and he is not impressed by this so I have to contain my cat. I know we have to go in a loop, but I have a problem with that. the one side of fence where wooden fence is also has a wooden fence and a solid slab of concrete so no burying there! AND opposite side of house my deck is right against the chain link fence with another wooden fence gate to get in yard. Although we've tried different types of wires and wire little fences to avoid him from jumping hes figured out everyway to get out. This cannot go near a chain li nk fence can it?? Any any ideas?? All the videos I've watched so far are showing yards with no fences...and how to do the containment field that way. BUT need help for a cat!!

@@kimberlythompson9347 I didn’t do that, but that i considered it. I ended up jamming the wire in a crack between the driveway and concrete garage floor. I sealed it in with some blacktop caulk.

There’s a reason why they didn’t show them sawing a deeper expansion in the cement. That basic circular saw isn’t going to do much to cement without snapping the blade or burning up the saw. You need a gas powered concrete saw.

If you twist the wire as shown it breaks the signal so your pet does not get shocked.
