PET MORNING ROUTINE 2016

Today’s video is my pet morning routine. I thought it was about time I made an updated one of these as I sadly no longer have the pets featured in my other one. There is also some confusion as to the pets I have to this day or not so I hope this clears things up for you. Hope you enjoy :) x

I highly recommend that you get a bigger cage for your hamster. The bare minimum for their cage should be 450 square inches and add some more bedding for the hamster to burrow. I hope this helps and you can learn more about your hamsters and what they need❤

They are pretty silent yes and I would say are the most quiet type of wheel so you shouldn't be disturbed too much :)

Yes I do but it differs for everyone. You don't have to feed them everyday, you can feed them more food that will last them a few days and then refresh which is what some owners do. Or you could feed them every other day so like in your case which works fine :)

lolly pop silent spinners are expensive but worth it in my opinion

lolly pop you can use olive oil or sunflower oil on the stand where the wheel and the stand meet to quiet it. every time you clean your hamsters cage or every week take the wheel out and use a cotton swab to apply oil to the wheel to quiet it

If he noise buffs you I recommend a silent spinner but never but a wired wheel sold st many pet stores as they can cause bad feet and even Bumble foot

I suggest buying a wheel like the "flying saucer wheel" or the "silent spinner" as these are relatively quite wheels and are also very good for hamsters if they're big enough. And if your hamster is making a lot of noise by bar chewing, provide him with lots of wooden chews and toys in his cage. These will help his teeth and distract him from making noise with the bars X

Thanks owly! Me too! :) Yeah well I thought I would go for less detail this time seeing as my other one was way too over detailed. Haha yeah I could do one, already been asked by a couple of others too. But that would literally be showing the pets playtime and turning the fish tank light off, I don't do much else other than that so I don't know if people might find that one a bit more boring. He has a bit, I wouldn't say a lot though. He had only just woken up here so he looks more tired and therefore older but he is still his active sprightly self haha :)

If you live in the UK then I highly recommend Burgess Supa Dwarf Hamster Harvest with Supreme Science Selective Hamster Pellets. A tbsp a day should be fine :)

ItsMilky I haven't heard of them but I would imagine if the ingredients are just apple then yes it would be safe. Any kind of kaytee food brands aren't safe for hamsters. You're welcome :)

Because I had four mice living in this cage so to stop any squabbles, I put more than one wheel in so they all get a fairly equal amount of time. This is something that's recommended for two or more mice :)

Both are great and there is no better cage. I think it depends where you live in terms of what is actually available to you. Because if you live in U.S or Canada where there are barely any cages suitable for hamsters then I would suggest a tank or a bin cage. But if you live in UK or somewhere within Europe then you have a whole range of suitable cages to pick from so in that case that can be better as you don't have to make a mesh lid for a tank or make bin cage, the cage is already setup and I think that is a big pro :)

It's basically a plastic box or bin and you cut out a large hole either in the side or have the lid meshed. There are many tutorials on youtube showing you how to make a bin cage so I suggest checking them out :)

Aw how very sweet! :) What food are you feeding him/her? Does it have high fat content? I would keep him/her on a low sugar diet this includes cutting out vegetables high in natural sugars as they are not the healthiest. Cut out as many fatty treats as you can too. What species of hamster is he? :)

Thank you! It really depends on your hamster as every hamster is different and will eat in different amounts and store their food in different ways. I personally give about 1tbsp to Plum each day but if you want it to last for a few days, then 2tbsp should last you for that amount of time :)

Do you mean the mice? I got them from a shop called Dobbies, unfortunately buying from a pet shop based system was my only option. I have no rescues near me or ways of adopting and no breeders near me either. So I really had no choice here. But I alway suggest adopting or buying from a breeder if you can. Rats are known to be smarter animals, Ive always had mice and I love them, But when getting mice, don't put multiple males together, They will fight. Females on the other hand are better with partners

You feed your hamsters a lot, mine only eat 1 teaspoon a night😅 (Chinese hamsters) and one robo he only eats 1/2 teaspoon, he sometimes has left overs too
