What if my hamster is pretty old and he is most likely going to die soon but I don’t have a very big cage and he won’t chew on toys or anything. The cage currently is one that he can’t escape out of because he is really good at that but I don’t know what to do because he keeps chewing on his bars.

Pine is safe. The phenom levels get reduced to unharmed when they kiln it. Pine is very safe and there’s studies that prove this. If you’re using cedar however this is very unsafe . Pine has phenols that are reduced to nom harmful rate when they get kilned. Paper bedding is actually worse to use because it has harmful amounts of ammonia levels from a week of being used compared to pine. I don’t know why pine has a bad wrap in the pet community put it is actually very safe . Check the science before making videos like this

Confused on my rat. She and her sister are both dumbo but her sister's (Kora) is black while peanut is a champange with a white belly and a darker beige mask. She has a satin coat (extremely soft and silky) with curly whiskers (sister is soft with curly whiskers too) and has absolutely NO hair on her tail, but the rest of her body has extremely long and soft hair, reminds me of a persian cat's fur. She also has brown eyes, what tyoe of rat do i have? 😭😭

I use a single story ferret nation which I did mesh but it’s so easy to assemble and clean!! I definitely recommend!! :D

Paper and wood Chips doesn’t repel bacteria and fungi as well as clay. It’s not so much dust the dust that’s the problem with clay, it’s the bacteria and fungus growth on plant based bedding. Clay has been used medically throughout history.

Mice urinate frequently and do not have the ability to control that as Paper also poorly holds Ammonia and Odor within 24 hours fumes get to a Toxic level and can cause URIs.
