37:05 as someone who has autism herself this couldn’t be more true. There’s a book called “All Cats Are On The Autism Spectrum” and I feel like it’s not just cats but all animals have a sense of caring and understanding from their human. For me my cat Mriya has always been there for me. One time I began to have a meltdown (or a fit) and the next thing I know Mriya is up on my lap and purring and licking the tears off my face. Right now I’m away at trade school and we have 2 dorm cats. Smokey and Hershey. Smokey is my cuddle Buddy. She follows me to my room every night and always seems to seek me out. Hershey does the same but not nearly as much. She’s the younger of the two and has much more energy than Smokey. I grew up owning cats so it’s kind of a nice peaceful relief that I get to be with cats even as an adult. My assigned dorm job is cat duties so I get to do the scooping, feeding, giving fresh water, etc. just like I do at home. Anyways great compilation! Happy 2023!

I worked with therapy horses helping kids with all kinds of “disabilities”, and animals 100% know that there is something special about the people who come in. They form a bond like I have never seen, and it’s amazing. The horses help kids come out of their shell, and I have even seen some non verbal kids start to say some words or show a form of communication, I’ve seen kids start to walk after years of not being able to.. it’s just amazing. I’m AuDHD, and they have also helped me tremendously, along with every other animal I meet

Dog has laryngitis. Well, why not. One of my sister's cats gave himself a case of laryngitis by hissing almost nonstop at a cat that was hanging around my sister's house. Being the protector of the house and family he fancied himself to be, he would sit in the living room window and hiss at the cat incessantly. Poor George, he got to the point that he had no meow ..... he could only mouth a meow. The cat eventually disappeared and George's voice eventually returned.

Chris reminds me so much of the vet we used to go to at my hometown, one time my guinea pig had an abscess which he drained then he gave him an antibiotic shot and when we asked how much is this gonna cost he laughed calculated for like a minute then charged us like 1$ given "the size of this beast"
@yamihikarilightdark9
@yamihikarilightdark9 9 ай бұрын
That makes me really happy. I feel like a lot of smaller pets, esp rodents, don’t get taken to vet because of the cost compared to such a tiny body. :( And it’s not really the vets’ fault (or owners since sometimes there just isn’t enough saved for overly pricey checks) they don’t have as much fall back and financial backing for their work like human docs, but they still need expensive equipment. :(

Pluto the singing dog. Our German Shepherd Annie panted a lot and ended up with lung cancer. I don't know if AHCC works for dogs, also Artemisinin (see the U. of W. study). I also gave our GS Camas Prairie Tea that may not work but worth a try. Annie lived two more years. The cancer was probably my fault as we had her confined in a outdoor kennel during some days, with hay in half and a horse pad on the other half. The hay probably had mold, even though I changed it often--rainy weather.

Brownie peed on the floor because she was mad that she couldn't get her Turkish bread. My dogs do it all the time. They use my legs and feet as targets when they are upset with me. Animals are very smart. You'd be surprised at what they do to show you how upset and angry they are with you. I was cutting the nails of one of my dogs and I cut his quick. I gushed all over him and showered him with kisses and apologies. Well, his brother saw this and when it was his turn to get his nails cut days later he screamed in pain with cutting one nail! I looked all over and found NOTHING. NO BLOOD, NOTHING ON HIS FEET, NO SCREAMING WHEN I MOVED HIS LEGS AND HIPS AND TOUCHED HIS RIBCAGE. But, when I put him on the floor to walk, screaming and limping. I checked again bearing weight on the foot. Nothing. I carried him around and kept him in my bedroom. The next morning I let him run loose with his brother, no limping, no screaming, he was running around like a football/soccer player!!! I was made a fool of the day before by this dog. Who would have thought that a dog would watch carefully and pick up on a human and dog behavior and do such a sneaky thing?
