Pet safety during heat waves

I have a husky that used to be an inside dog until last year she decided that the huge backyard (with all her toys) was her space and she didn't want to sleep or be inside as much anymore. When it got hot I thought she would come in but instead she went to her shady spots and dug holes that she lays in. Plus throughout the day I drop ice into her water bucket she also likes to chew on ice and every once in awhile if it gets too hot I dump ice into her little swimming pool that she likes to walk though & run through

I know they don't sweat like humans but they stick their tongs out more often during hot weather, so that's a hint they're Hot and Thirsty 🤨
