Unboxing the new Skiiddii Pet Trailer.
At around $180 dollars the Skiiddii Pet Trailer comes in as one of the cheapest trailers on the market. In this video you'll see it unboxed and fully assembled with all the step by step procedures shown to have this trailer fully ready to hit the road and roll along the cycle ways.
I purchased this trailer for 2 reasons
1. To see if my dog enjoyed riding along behind me in a pet trailer. I thought if he didn't like it or seemed stressed then Im` only down $180. If on the other hand he did like it, I could then consider upgrading if this trailer didn't perform well.
2. To see if the cheapest trailer on the market does the job and ticks the boxes we need ticked. This includes
* Does it rattle around much
* Is it a smooth ride
* Is it stable to tow
* Does it turn well
* Does my dog enjoy being in it
After riding around for about 20 minutes at speeds up to 25kmph I found all the boxes were ticked. At this stage I'm quite impressed with the little trailer.
Please note that the trailer does not have suspension like some of the other more expensive brands but I always only intended for this to be a cycle path ride for my dog.

These are great. I bought a second-hand one off eBay a couple of years ago for £15 from a chap who sadly no longer needed it, because his dog had gone to the great kennel in the sky. I do Ceramic-Tiling and odd jobs for people, and it is great for moving my tools around, completely covered, and protected from any sudden changes in the weather.

Yeh, I know what you mean. My little dog loves it and loves riding around in it but I’ve also used it to go buy a few bags of shopping & it made it so easy to pack everything into instead of trying to squeeze it into my back pack. 😃👍

Can I ask what size did you get? What’s the biggest dog that would comfortably fit in it?

With this particular model there were only 2 sizes, small and large. This is the large size which I think will fit most small to medium size dogs. If you have a large dog then I think you would have to look at another brand. I think the average sized labrador would be about the biggest dog you could fit in here.

Thank you! Going to buy this. Just bit worried about safety. Lots of hills here, wouldn't want the trailer to snap off and go backwards down a hill. Are those little pins not too flimsy? I'm even looking at dog helmets 😅

​@TropicalZooms thanks! Do you know the diameter of the hole in the thing that goes on the axle? Just realised my ebike has a thick axle which may be too thick. :( I have a Merida Spresso 142x12mm axle standard I think.

@@emsa8211 I’m not sure on the diameter of the connection point. I actually ended up attaching the trailer to my other ebike that has a through axle. I’m at work this weekend. Hi Phil. I bought the little Ryobi 18v pump from Bunnings. I thought the little trailer went on well to the quick release axel. Have since bought a little attachment to connect it to my “through axel” on my bike. Trailer still going well. I purchased it from eBay for about $140AU 😃

No. I think it’d go poorly behind a motorcycle. I noticed that it gets a bit of a wobble at around 40 to 50kgs ph

I’ve only taking it out once. So far I’ve just folded flat and wrapped it in an old blanket and left it under the table. Thinking with a bit of re organising I might be able to fit it up in the overhead Luton. 😃
