Hi Autumn. Can I ask what type bedding you recommend for using in the litter box? I think you have tried a few dif ones correct?

I’m currently using Small Pet Select paper bedding! It’s been working well for me and my shop vac sucks it up well. I was using kiln dried aspen shavings before (either full cheeks or tractor supply brand) but it wasn’t as soft on their feet and my shop vac would get clogged. But it was cheaper. Paper pellets are also a good option!

@@autumngrace. I have wondering about paper, wasn't sure if they will just be standing in soggy paper then despite changing it daily. If you say it's working good, I trust your judgement. I will have to buy a small bag to try and I will have to give it a go! Just wanted to avoid anything harmful. 🙂 Thanks!

I recommend the Guinea pig cages store if you don’t want to build your own! But if you want to save some money you can build your own c&c cage with coroplast from Home Depot and Amazon basics grids

Heyyy so I have a tip because if you get one Guinea pig they could get very lonely and then it would be depressed so I would get two or more

Rescues are often over saturated, but you can’t just get one! You need at least two. X

Why you have lights on the cage?

The lights on the bottom help illuminate the bottom cages since they can get a little dark underneath the other ones.

You really should feed your guinea pigs a lot more veggies and try some fresh grass, as that's their normal diet.

They get fresh veggies daily and as I live in an apartment the grass is sprayed with pesticide and not safe
