TBH, this is the great thing about the internet & KZbin. Anyone starting out can get advice online from these people as well as many others on all aspects of music. The gear, the method, the technique, all the things that used to be handed down to younger players by word of mouth and experience, can now be found almost straight away here or elsewhere online.

I love the interactions between KZbin content creators - Pete and Paul (along with Rabea Masaad, Chris Buck, Colin from CS Guitars, Ben Eller, Rick Beato and so many more) have such different styles, it is like getting master classes from a dozen different giants in the guitar world every week. We are in a new golden age of learning and playing and these players are at the forefront. Would love to see more of this. Maybe a round table scenario with 4-5 content creators answering their favourite questions? Thanks from Edmonton!

Just getting into Paul's stuff. Think having to get a real job is something every guitarist can relate to. However a local band, Massive Waggons, who were on the verge of quitting 18 months ago are just about to embark on a stadium tour with Status Quo. So never give up people.

You both mentioned something that struck home with me. I’d been playing guitar for quite awhile before I really did something with it. Started out doing acoustic night at the local Brewery and then Open mic. I’ve been playing in a hobby band for the last 2 years. What is your goal. Perpetual practice ? Or get out there and use that practice for whatever your goal is. Fun , professional musician. Whatever. Use all that practice for something. Thx for all the great content and inspiration Pete and Paul

Hopefully you find this funny, but I was watching Pauls video today and then got fixated that I've known you for years. Started frantically googling based on my belief you released albums in the 90's and couldn't find anything. It was driving me crazy so I finally pulled out my CD's and realized I was thinking of Pete Yorn :) No offense meant, but to be fair you guys looked somewhat similar when you had longer hair. Anyway, I'm a new subscriber. Very cool channel.

Whenever I watch these kinds of discussions I find myself wondering, probably because of my age, about the long term. What will all these wonderful KZbinrs be doing when they are in their sixties, or seventies? I'd be interested in hearing a discussion among KZbinrs about preparing for the future. It seems to me that with some thought and effort the future could be pretty bright for all.
