Regarding the Yngwie comments. I've been fortunate enough to meet Yngwie a number of times over the course of many years. They weren't VIP situations or 'in-passing' quick encounters. On at least two occasions we were in his presence a half-hour or more. He's always been a gracious gentleman to me and those who were with me. I'm just another middle-aged punk kid who plays guitar and not Yngwie's musical contemporary or on his payroll. Perhaps that has something to do with it ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ I'm blown away by Yngwie as much as the next person, I admire and respect his talent and skill, he's a legend.

Guitar max reported last week that Jimi Hendrix old speaker cabinet was for sale and it was a fender cabinet that Jimi blew the speakers and fender replaced them with JBLs which was a normal thing back then!!! WELL THAT IS ALSO INDIVIDUAL AND COMPLETELY UP TO US TO DETERMINE FOR OURSELVES.. WHICH PEDALS WE LIKE? WHICH AMPS WE LIKE? WHICH TYPE OF INSTRUMENTS, PICK UPS MICS, SPEAKERS, TUBES, CABLES, PICKS. ETC. LOL.. AND WE ALL HAVE OUR OWN EARS AND NEED TO FIND THOSE SOUNDS THAT WE EACH FEEL WE NEED TO HEAR, FOR US TO BE ABLE TO EXPRESS OUR FEELINGS THROUGH THE TONES AND SOUNDS WE FEEL ARE MOST ACCURATE TO OUR EARS! THAT IS ALL IT IS.. WE DO HAVE TO AT SOME POINT FOCUS ON PLAYING AND EXPRESSING OURSELVES.. BUT IF WE DONT HAVE THE SOUND WE FEEL WE NEED TO DO THAT? WE CANT DO THAT THEN! AND LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE IN THIS UNFAIRLY CONTROLLED WORLD.. ALL THE DIFFERENT TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT FOR PEOPLE TO SEARCH THROUGH TO FIND THEIR SOUNDS?? ITS MOSTLY ALL TOO EXPENSIVE AND OUT OF REACH! : / THIS IS ANOTHER FACTOR IN THIS CONVERSATION THAT YOU DIDNT GET INTO.. ANYWAY... I APPRECIATE BOTH YOU GUYS AND YOUR MUSIC AND ABILITIES, AND ENJOY LISTENING TO YOU CONVERSE AND TALK ALL THINGS MUSIC. I bet the Ibanez brand ambassadors get custom American made protypes over what we can buy publicly. When you buy a signature model, I doubt you're getting the same thing they are playing. I bought an AZ2204 and the neck was so dry it was unplayable, the pickups didnt sound as good as demos from ambassadors either. Dont say its me not playing as good, Of course theyre better, but the tone should still be roughly the same.
