I got to jam with Andy Timmons in 1991 when I was in Wild Horses and we were in NY. He was such a nice guy and so much fun to play with. Great to know he is doing so well.

I saw AT play a few summers ago at a small pub here in CT. I am a long time fan, but had never seen him play live. It was simply astounding. I have been playing guitar for 32 years. I have never been so absolutely floored by a player as I was that night. I could go on and on. Pure mastery seemingly without limits, but also soulful, passionate, tasteful …. Thanks for the fantastic content, Andy!

I first saw AT at the National Guitar Summer Workshop in New Milford, CT in the ‘90s. The last time I saw him was 2018 when he and Jennifer Batten sat in with the Dixie Dregs. Incredible.

Andy T your talk about the attendees at the camp really touched me. I am one of the oldest guys that went and I'm coming this year. Both times got the VIP. You guys were truly down the earth and encouraging. And yes I picked with a lot of the fellow attendees between classes and shows. It was an amazing thing to be around such a group of people who love guitar. I had never attended anything like this in the 55 years I've been playing. I started and 10 yrs old. I am what you call a weekend warrior but I still learn new things and find such joy and peace in playing guitar. It means so much that you noticed the vibe, the energy, the fun and comradery of even the players who were students. I picked a tune with Brent and he was so kind and laid back. I decided not to be nervous and to just enjoy it and not hold back. He could not have been more gracious. All of you were such great people to learn from, to hang with along with so many attendees that I met. And hey!! the food was off the hook haha. See you all there for the 2021 Woodshed camp.

Many of us have to resolve the fact that we will not be as good as the Wood's or Timmon's of our guitar world, no matter how much we play or practice, but will some how still strive for it with their help and wisdom which is available to the world at this moment in time like no other in history. The sheer volume of content is head-spinning, but to be able to enjoy it, learn from it, and accept at some point that it's not a contest, but a lifetime journey, and we all get to play in the game as much as we want, makes it a great time to be a guitarist!

I am so very thankful to both of you for sharing with all of us so openly your musicianship. As someone who learns by “understanding” first, I thank you both too for your ABILITY TO IMPART: your *articulation*, your finding words to relay the ineffable, helps this nobody no-talent novice more than you will know. Fantastic interview. Resolution is one of my top guitar instrumental albums. The trio approach was so inspiring to see what a virtuoso can really do with the instrument with one track. As far as the trio, what about getting Andy Summers? He did some cool fusion and jazz covers way back.

So awesome to see a vid of you two together. If you do another one with him, Is there any chance you could get more into his playing and how and why he's so melodic? more so, I believe, than almost all. Great vid though, really neat tip about the band mix at the end. ✌️

I wish soundmen were listening to this, 2 of the biggest shows I played , ( 3000 + ) I had to stand next to my amp and get away from the monitors. I could have shaved with the tone they were throwing out. I kept asking the side monitor man cut the high end EQ to 0. Didnt give a flying fuck. Maybe not big shows for some on here but it was for me, the whole experience was destroyed for me because I couldn't be myself .
