For me, this is the best violin solo in rock and roll. I never get tired of it. I love the crowds appreciation, it adds so much.

It's not Mick Jagger on drums. It's that amazing chick who also played extra drums on Mike Oldfield's live debut of "Tubular Bells III".

Thank God, Mick Jagger is no where around this performance 🙏!!! The Stones are the most overrated terrible band ever!!! I still to this day, don't understand why anyone thinks they were great? Zeppelin, The Who, Kiss the original lineup, Fleetwood Mac, and the Eagles are the best!!!!

John "Rabbit" Bundrick....ex - Free, Andy Fairweather-Low among many....what a trouper, great musician and I will always remember with fondness "Muddy Water" and "Common Mortal Man" from Free's 1972 album "Heartbreaker" tracks 1 & 2 respectively from side 2.

Townshend is a genius no other word for it and what a performer.Just wish that younger more modern singers were as passionate about their music as he is and not just focussed on their "looks "and wallet.

There are many of us who remember a performance of Behind Blue Eyes by Pete with just his accoustic guitar. It was soul wrencing but can't find it anywhere anymore.

just in case anyone might be wondering, why everyone is cheering as mad, when chyna sings the first chorus (and rabbit is applauding). this is actually the second take of the song in that evening, something got stuck in her throat the first time round, so pete had it started again. lovely concert.

@auvisvoisin The 'interactive' portion of Pete trying Lifehouse, I believe, came after Who's Next. But obviously the songs for Lifehouse were written before Who's Next, because half of them were on that album.

im sorry my mistake...the keyboardist is rabbit....the woman drummer has played with pete and the who in the late 80s for their tommy tour and in the 90s with the quadrophenia tour....shes mainly just a percussionist and i dont really think shes trying to portray the notion of being a typical drummer, i think shes just there to keep the beat and provide some interesting sounds

Erm No! Lifehouse, as the description says. was the original idea but Pete couldn't get the idea acoss to the band so it was more or less abandoned and the songs became 'Who's Next'. Pete then went on to expand the ideas for Lifehouse in his solo work in the years and decades to come. Quadrophenia (the greatest thing ever wrtitten) is a totally separate piece of work and has little or nothing conceptually to do with Lifehouse.

well compared to others, but my friend, where were those others? you're sorrounded by the people you need, and if you think jody did a bad work, so tell to Pete, but please stop doing those stupid sexist comments. by the way, I don't care your musical knowledge because it can't be measured. and as there are thousand better, there're some others like me who support that good work and are going to defend that work. I don't care if you liked, but stop those comments.

do you know about whom are you talking about? the drummer girls is jody linscott, and even if she's introduced as the percussionist, she plays drums better than you would. not to have a drumset here and play it just as the song requires (not as keith did) doesn't mean she can't drum. she can more than you, besides she plays percussions better than you would.
