This is such a beautiful song made even more beautiful by the female singer. That first key change. Wow. Let me fess up. I’ve loved this song since I bought Who Came First when it first came out. I’ve played guitar all my life and Pete has massively influenced me. I even transposed that song to piano. The chord structure is amazing. Pete loves to play suspended chords, running notes and power chords of course. And so do I. I can play all his stuff and it gives me so much pleasure to be able to do this. And guess what - my first ever gig was The Who at Edmonton Sundown in London in Dec 1973. Quadrophenia is still my favourite album of all time 51 years later. Yes indeed! Thank you so much Pete Townshend.❤️

It's been a pleasure to have grown and matured with this man. His music is anthemic despite his denials; it is the soundtrack of the baby boomers. And the music is so versatile. I know I shouldn’t talk this way, but every now and then I do think about it. We’ll all end up there, of course! His music will live on for eternity, and every generation since he’s been born appreciates it now- imagine how future generations will, too!
