The discussion at 30:00 about properly detailed air conditioning units on models reminds me a great deal of the roof top detailing for computer games like Cities Skylines. Without those details it all looks flat and almost cartoony. As creators made better and more varied AC units, etc, to put on roofs the buildings (and thus the whole cities) looked far more realistic.

It's pretty incredible when creators go to the trouble of detailing a building with air conditioners and other encrusting details. My favorite Japanese modeler takes it to an extreme level, but even a few such additions go a long way. kzbin.info/www/bejne/anWsfGykrrWknrc Bets of luck with the final push toward MT4 at Chester this year.
