Pete Zolli: "21st Century Schizoid Man/I Talk To The Wind" (aka "Suite In KC": King Crimson cover)

I'm working on a project I call AcoustiCrim, consisting of acoustic guitar-based King Crimson covers.
Here's the first piece I've completed, which includes elements of "Peace - A Theme" (Fripp), "Pictures Of A City" (Fripp, Sinfield), "21st Century Schizoid Man" (Fripp, McDonald, Lake, Giles, Sinfield), and "I Talk To The Wind" (McDonald, Sinfield). I make no claim of copyright; etc., etc.

Going from “Peace” straight into “Pictures of a City” is INCREDIBLE. Then right into Schizoid Man!! And the whole damn thing! Disclaimer about not being Fripp, Lake, Giles or McDonald noted and promptly DISCARDED. They would all be impressed (Lake and McDonald are nodding with approval from above)!!

@@PeteZolli I am not a drummer, unfortunately I'm way too uncoordinated!! But I've been a big Clive Bunker fan ever since This Was. And a big Michael Giles fan as well. AND you did an fantastic job with Greg Lake's Schizoid and Talk to the Wind basslines here, there's a LOT going on there on that I missed on the first listen. I'm just another lousy guitarist, but I enjoy great ensemble playing like King Crimson. And you, sir, are a great one man ensemble! it's one thing to lay down some basic guitar, bass and drum tracks, but to execute high level playing on each instrument (on a number like Schizoid no less) is of the rarest order!!

@@victorwong9622 Giles is truly tremendous, and really had his own thing going on from the jump. He's the main influence on how I use two bass-drums; no dubba-dubba-dubba from that guy! 🙂
