This is my initial review since I just got the ipad and I'm hoping to update it when I've had it longer kzbin.infoUgkxUGaHtKW8MwCql2fPyIm9-ftTqSMzKFFA . I purchased one that was listed as "acceptable condition" and was a little worried about what it would look like. However, I am pleased with its condition. The back has some scuffs and a small dent near the logo. There are a few tiny marks at the bottom of the front of the ipad but the condition of the screen is perfect. There are no scratches or anything. I was able to set it up, use it, and it charges fine. I'm hoping it continues to work well for me. So far it was worth the purchase. Also shipping was fast. The item came one day earlier than expected

Thanks for that helpful video, Pete. I want to have a stand-alone monitor connected to my ipad and I can now do that after watching your video. However, my preference would be the ability to use mouse and keyboard functions on the monitor rather than on the ipad (easier to see on monitor) but I guess as the monitor is just duplicating what is on the ipad, the monitor would not offer interactivity with the keyboard and mouse. Is that correct?

That’s an odd one. USB or Bluetooth? Maybe provide some more info and ask over at the GarageBand Users Facebook group. Also make sure you are using a genuine Apple Lightning to USB 3 adapter.

Errrr..... yeah. They are told to say no as they can’t “guarantee” that every device will work. Most do / especially nice and keyboards which are almost 100% class compliant. 👍

However when I then go into GarageBand the delay is very, very long and it’s physically impossible to manoeuvre around and make some music. Would you have any tips on how I could get it working? That’s very strange? Might be an issue with the wireless receiver and interference? Make sure if it’s wireless hat there nothing else nearby using 2.4gHz wireless.
