Hi Pete, it was probably mentioned before but here some quick notes on Novelists FR (btw FR stands for France where they come from and they added it to their name because of some 'legal issues'): The band photo you showed was with their old singer Matteo, who planned to leave the band after their 2020 tour (which had to be dissmissed). The new singer Tobias was the singer of now departed german band Burning Down Alaska (later renamed Alazka) and Lost Cause is the first Novelists song with Tobias. If you know both bands you notice right away that Lost Cause sounds alot like old Alazka (a fact I don't know how to feel about yet). The old Novelists stuff is much more dark, melodic, progressive or djentier so to speak. I cannot recommend highly enough that you check out some older songs of them like Gravity, 5:12 AM, Monochrome, The Light the fire, A Travers Le Mirior, Somebody Else, C'est la vie or After The Rain Feel free to like this comment so more can read it.

I saw Turisas support Lordi in Glasgow about 14 years ago. A mate from Skye got half a dozen free tickets because he kept playing Lordi on the local radio station and his Saturday night rock show was syndicated to a lot of local radio stations in northern Scotland. That particular song is a cover of the Disco classic Rasputin (originally by Boney M), hence the disco ball. Started as song they played live for fun and then decided to make a kick ass single out of it too. Metal covers of disco are often awesome (I've seen "Tragedy: The all metal tribute to the Beegees and beyond" three times)
