I'm going on tour with Harrods. But before we hit the road I went to the store for a little photo shoot. For the occasion Horrods/Hbeauty lit up the entire store in pink! But does the bus come back undamaged.........

This bus has had quite the lifetime, it started off driving around london, then it got sold off to some other company in Birmingham! And then got stripped out and turned into the H beauty bus and visited london again for a photoshoot and then went off up the top of england again for its roadtrip.

Pete your enthusiasm is always electric ⚡️ in your videos 😊 I did mobile exhibitions for 10 years all over the U.K. and Europe and early morning starts for photo shoots or setting up was the norm 🙄 I enjoyed every day as it was always VIP job as I was in charge of the mobile unit bus etc and that made me feel special just like you Pete lol 😂 I even did F1 Jordan for 3 years 👍🏻 clipping a curb is easily done as you are always ask to do strange things in not the normal places 😫 Anyway you told us all so we feel your pain 😢

Pete, are you aware that bus has an extra boost of acceleration power? Called kickdown, when you press the throttle and think ok that’s all it’s got, if you press it hard, it kicks down, like a magic switch.

Worked Harrods security in the 90’s. Had a very good seven years if ya know what I mean 😜 Eventually found the love of my life. Married to her now for 24 yrs.

@@PeteAndHisBusMuch better in 2024, I used to drink in the Bunch of Grapes near by in Brompton Road, in those days Pete, had RM’s from Merton Garage on the 49’s, Putney RM’s on the 14, the 19 from Finsbury Park to Tooting Bec. They were great times on the buses, in West London, as would see BEA or BOAC Routemaster coaches in service to Heathrow airport, saw them parked up at the old Hammersmith garage, remember the trailers being pulled at the rear 😊.

"Collected a kerb" That's a new one, there are other phrases like, just shaved, brushed slightly, connected with or plain old hit. Collected sounds as though you still have it Pete. It happens, no harm done and it's best to come clean with the person paying.

There is a London bus service on diversion around Tatsfield at present. Supposedly the roads are too narrow and the normal drivers have refused to do the route, so subcontracted a minibus from another company for it. Just shows that you cannot put a big box down a road where it wont fit.
