Peter, although you've created magnificent films in your own right, I believe your film scholarship will truly be your life's work. As film technology changes so constantly, and "celebrity news" focuses increasingly on what's trending, it's more crucial than ever to preserve our film heritage; not simply to keep the memories alive of the people who made them, but our shared cultural identities. Bravo, sir.

Well said, sir. Few things depress and anger me more than an altered movie. They not only cheat us, and the filmmakers; if we know the movie and love it, they rape our memories.
