Peter Bogdanovich Recommends: John Cassavetes

I saw "Gloria" on cable TV in 1981. In those days, HBO and Showtime used to get movies almost immediately after their initial theater release. But then when VHS became popular and every city had a Blockbuster Video store, the premium movie channels like HBO and Showtime weren't given immediate access to new films. Eventually they began to produce their own content. I never saw "Love Streams." I don't know why.
