Probably they weren't even candy bars. To keep chocolate from melting during a long day of filming, Cindy and Bobby probably got small blocks of wood in those white wrappers. Not tasty, except for termites.

Yes, he was a convincing actor. When I watched this show as a kid in the early 70's I thought he was a great caring father. It was hard for me to believe when I read later they had to talk Reed out of quitting several times. He absolutely hated being on this show. In fact, for the sixth season they were planning on killing off his character in a construction site accident, but the show was cancelled so it never happened.

That’s a great notice. I’ve never noticed that before and boy you gotta love the technology. I was only a couple years old here. I grew up with the TV. The floor model, but I was happy with that cable I’ll be honest the Brady family had an amazing house, but they really didn’t have a good family room to watch television

It was F for Fantastic when I was in school. I didn't want to brag, so I made the F's look like B's. Alice must iron Peter's jacket so well that paper gets pressed to perfection even though he jammed his science test twice into its pocket. When the jacket somehow makes it into the kitchen, Carol pulls out an unwrinkled test neatly sticking out of the pocket. Amazing. If Peter did that, he deserves an A for that scientific breakthrough.

lol I remember watching this episode obviously in syndication I was only two years old when it came out, but you’re right he stuffed it in his pocket OK and he should’ve zipped up the pocket and if it didn’t have a zip, put it in his drawer just rip it up in his pocket and then he later on that night leaves it in the kitchen to go get an apple I mean come on riders at least have her come in to clean the house or something his room geez horrible writing

Or she may be trying to “push” him in order for him to do his best. Mike and Peter later had a talk and they both agreed that Peter didn’t do his best. Sometimes a Parent has to “Push” to get the kid to do their best

I remember in my day, those report cards were sent home via snail mail. I intercepted. Did you know that a 'D' can look like a 'B' if you use an old fashioned typewriter and type over that pest and put it back in the envelope? Well evidently it can't. My mother saw my 'fix' and sent for a second copy. I won't bore you with the details, but I don't recall an understanding 'Brady' parental chat as this story's climax!

Oh oh oh, Peter! Lies don't work! The one time I hid bad grades, I got in trouble. I forged my father's signature, crudely, and he discovered it. It was better to have said everything the first time. The scolding was harsh and the mistrust was the worst.

Oh it was science. I got bad grades in science because I found it so boring and I didn't really care about it. The only part I found interesting was astronomy. But what Peter and I both ought to have done was to make ourselves study so we could at least pass it. I didn't make much effort and my grades reflected that.
