Sometimes totally inexplicable things happen. This just arrived randomly into my KZbin‘music’ inbox. This letter is delightful. But the weirdest thing is - - am about to attend a presentation by a Bumble Bee expert this morning. I was toying with the idea of maybe skipping it. Then as I’m thinking “bumble bees - to go or not to go -“ this actor reads this letter.! So am now thinking the Universe has spoken and I must discover more about how to protect this dwindling species. I had occasionally wondered how on earth they managed to fly, without discernible wings and the fat little bodies. And now I find I’m not the only one questioning the aerodynamics!! So am leaving imminently to listen to a wildlife expert - - and my contribution will be sharing this. ‘Letters Live” with the audience. THANK YOU UNIVERSE ✨❤️✨

big pete, this guy is one of my heroes, he broke right through norms and carved out a fine thespian legacy and a massive body of work. i have always looked up to this giant of an actor. my clumsy plays on words are in no way mockery or cynical, i truly have a deep respect for this dude, in another time and place we would probably be drinking buddies, oscar wilde and jim morrison carousing the streets of paris with the last bottle to share, singing ancient sea shantys and andrew w.k songs, in an out of tune brawl of cacophony until the dawn took us. i dunno if he spent time in nyc or if he studied in the actors studio but i bet he would have been welcomed among the absolute cream of his trade as an equal.

Plus, the bees who do all of the work are female! I enjoyed watching Peter in the movie "Elf" and when he did his "Space Pants" skit with Gwen Stefani. "When I say space, you say pants. Space______". I remember 9/11 like it was yesterday. I worked at Airborne Express in Seattle. At one point, they had a list posted of all of the businesses that were no more because of the inhumanity of some who decided to play God. 😢
