And if you die, I feel like that’s on me. I don’t need that on my conscience.” Peter’s feeling exactly what Tony felt. He knew that if he sent them home to their deaths, then that would forever be on his conscience, knowing full well that he could’ve saved them from their terrible fates. The ONLY thing that I wish I could edit in this scene is Peter saying something like "Oh come on cape! I thought we were friends!" and maybe the cape looking reluctant or ashamed or "sighs" before chasing Peter.
