Anyone still scratching their head about the meaning of 'Norwegian Wood,' it's just John mangling words. Straight, it would be, 'isn't it good, knowing she would.'

Thank you for your non-sequitur.

‘She showed me her room isn’t it good Norwegian Wood’. The room being shown by the girl is literally paneled or built with “Norwegian Wood.” In a video I just watched (The HolyHobs) Paul recollects that building or paneling a room in wood had become very popular, Peter Asher had just done it, and although it was really cheap pine it was called “Norwegian Wood.” Paul claims to have contributed that lyric. So no it’s not word salad, it’s a literal reference to the rooms paneling.

It's also about one of the affairs John had

John said in interviews that he had no idea where he got the title, but Paul said in his biography that it came from cheap wood paneling that was popular at the time.

Great song!!! One of my favourites from The Beatles for sure. However, John gets all the credit when Paul also contributed to a part of the song.
