Peter Gabriel Live at the Bottom Line 1978

Here is a Gabriel bootleg from October 4th, 1978. The Bottom Line NYC.
Since I don't have the complete bootleg yet, I pieced together what I have:

Includes Pete's infamous announcement, "If you're all good boys and girls, you might get a little surprise". This happens to be Mr. Fripp. During this time Mr. Fripp would sometimes go under the name, Dusty Rhodes. Why? I don't know but it's probably because he can because after all, he is Fripp! Sometimes he would play from off of the side of the stage. I also remember my friends telling me that sometimes they would set up an opaque screen in front of him. When the spotlights were on him you could at least see his silhouette. Why? Because he can, he is Fripp!

I was there! As a lifelong Fripp maniac, I was ecstatic. This was a one off for Fripp. He played offstage during the prior tour as Dusty Rhodes. It was duringFripp’s New York period during which he worked with or showed up with Blondie, The Roches, Darryl Hall and the SNL band.

I was at this show!! Damn I miss the Bottom Line. As I recall, Fripp sat sortta behind the side leg curtains and gets no credit. I thought it was Alan Shwartzberg on drums....

Actually, Fripp came onstage for the numbers he sat in on. The crowd went insane, myself included.

+Captain Kek Sorry, but no. Robert Fripp was not featured on The Lamb. The King Biscuit recording includes PG's introduction of Fripp for Modern Love, but then jump cuts to The Lamb. Fripp was also featured on All Day and All of the Night for both shows (early and late). I will soon upload each show in its entirety if interested.

Fripp showed up for Solsbury Hill. If you listen closely he mentions Mr. Fripp just before All Day and all of the Night.
