Peter Gabriel - Live in Arena di Verona, 1st part (SUB ENG/ITA)

This is the first part of Peter Gabriel’s concert with The New Blood Orchestra, performed in the Arena of Verona on September 26th, 2010. Scratch my Back is a collection of covers very meaningful, deep and emotional, all made to pay homage to those songs’ various international artists. The original video was made by Anna Gabriel and Andrew Gaston; I’ve just edited it a bit, including a meticulous transcription of the subtitles with the collaboration of my daughter.
I hope you will have a blast watching it.

Scratch my Back è una raccolta di cover di vari artisti internazionali molto significative, intense ed emozionanti. Il video originale è stato realizzato da Anna Gabriel e Andrew Gaston; io ho apportato soltanto alcune modifiche, tra cui una trascrizione minuziosa dei sottotitoli in collaborazione con mia figlia.

I wonder if his new tour will feature a small orchestra. I don't think he can tour with as large an orchestra as this along with his band but who knows. He's Peter Gabriel. He can do anything. I hope he's getting some air play, especially with this most recent tune Bright Mix of "Playing for Time." Brilliant, anthemic really. I see artists performing this piece in the future...ice-skaters at the Olympics using it for their routines and such. Yeah, I see things sometimes. LOL

Tony Levin, his longtime bass player has revealed the line up for this tour in his blog documenting the rehearsal process. And there are a few strings / horn players as long as i can remember - 2 or 3 max so it will be a small set up. The rest of the line up is more a standard rock band - guitars keyboards and the solid rythm section driven by Tony Levin and Manu Katché on drums

@@sergiob924 già fatto, va benissimo così. Anzi, dice qualcosa che non sempre ha detto nelle presentazioni di vari pezzi lo scorso anno. Per me questo è valore aggiunto. Peccato per il tuo invece, perché sia le riprese che l'audio sono ottimi, ma quei sottotitoli davvero, ovviamente per me, invasivi. Non ho idea dell'effort per disattivarli, ma sarebbe stato perfetto. Grazie comunque.
