Yes, Peter usually shares the stage with top noch mucicians, thru the years the ensambles he has set to record or play live have been formidable. But, Peter wife is 100% rigth, he manages quite well in the piano. in this intimate format his music reaches your soul with a raw beauty.

Peter should release full versions of these songs played and sung in this way totally stripped down. At the heart of all those big album productions is a great voice and a great songwriter...this can almost be buried at time and it's refreshing to hear him unplugged! I've seen him dozens of times and however great the big production numbers have been what moved me most was a solo piano version of 'Here Comes The Food'.

Same! I hate to even speak it into the universe, thinking it could possibly remove time from the new album, but I would love an album of solo piano arrangements of some of his songs. I guess New Blood and this is as close as we'll get for now.

@@rpraelsporcupine3112 i saw him recently (on YT somewhere but i can't remember where) saying that he has about 20 songs ready for the new album but that he got a late comer musical idea that he wants to make it onto the new album but he still has to find lyrics for it and that he'll be back at that in September. Given that it will take 50 takes until he's happy with it 🤣🤣 and given the manufacturing leadtimes these days i wouldn't personnally expect a release until 2023 😉
