I am not the crying kind. I have never cried while listening to a song. But listening to this song completely breaks me down, and I start to sob like a child. I suspect the reason I start to cry while listening to this song is because of the lines that speak of hope for love from someone. I am well past 60 and steadily heading towards old age, having never had the privilege of having someone fall in love with me. Love truly is for lucky people. Some of us are just not that lucky.

Yep, especially because what is Love without Wisdom or Wisdom without Love. You can Love foolishly and/or too easily which often leads to bad or at least empty relationships. You can be too Wisdom focused which can lead to excessive Logic which then leads to an empty Life. Therefore, you need both together for the best existence. You still need to be open to Love & Companionship yet temper it with Wisdom to prevent Foolish Loves/Relationships. Just like you need the Wisdom to understand that importance.

Love this song. As a massive scrubs fan it means so much and I passed on that love of scrubs onto my younger brother and as his best man he said don’t cry when his bride walks down aisle. I said I don’t cry! That was until she came down aisle to this. He got me good

Whenever I hear this song I just think of JD looking into his future at the front of Sacred Heart.

You need to watch Shall We Dance to get the full effect. (Jennifer Lopez, Susan Sarandon, and Richard Gere) One of my fave movies.
