I never saw him as a villain despite what the show was trying to say. There was his barely surviving the fire when the rest of his family didn’t, suffering from violently broken pack bonds, being straight up abandoned by Laura, being trapped in his own slowly healing body for six years, and being somewhat manipulated by Jennifer after he woke up. No wonder he went feral. I’d also want revenge too tbh if it was my family considering some that died in the fire were just children. Then there was the fact that the “good guys” willingly set a burn trauma survivor on fire. Again. I wasn’t rooting that much for them after that. 🤷‍♀️
