Peter kind of reminds me of what I've read of narcistic parents where sometimes they are proud of their kid's accomplishments (because it reflects well on them because they made them), and sometimes they are angry at their kid's accomplishments (because they are jealous). Peter in this scene always seems halfway between both reactions to me, because on the one hand that's HIS beta--that he turned--and it validates his choosing Scott, but on the other hand he's annoyed that the kid is surpassing him. And later when we find out that he's going to try to take that alpha power from Scott because he thinks he deserves it more, it makes perfect sense.

Ok, people say that Scott doesnt have an alphas strength, that has been proven wrong in many episodes, the one with the electric chair, the time he BREAKS THROUGH MOUNTAIN ASH, and the time when Scott and Liam r being beaten by the Eichen guards. It takes one guy with an electric stick to have Liam down and seizing on the ground, 3 OF THEM R ON SCOTT AND HE DOESN’T DROP. If they had written Scott to embrace his alpha power and let loose, the show would have been over a lot faster people

For a brief second, Peter was proud of Scott he was proud of himself for choosing Scott, and then he got mad cause he thought he deserved it more but in this moment I think he was proud

One thing that hit me with this scene was Derek's attitude shift. Right away he starts trusting Scott's plans more. It's like the little kid who grew up modeling themselves after a superhero, then meeting said hero and all expectations are met or surpassed.

For the people still bashing about Scott "The True Alpha" McCall being weak, let me remind you a few thing:

The fact that scott was like it "doesn't matter" about him being a true alpha just shows how humble he is and backs up Derek's "Find another way" speech even more. You know when he was telling the twins that Scott will do anything to save his friends even when it's hopeless he finds a way. All he cared about was saving his friend.

One of the greatest storylines in tv history. The episode when we went back in time to dereks past and how they connected the dots was world class. The nogitsune story line was class hope they used those 2 filler episode to subcountiously tell the story was amazing the season2 storyline when we finally saw gerrrads plan and how and why Jackson became the kanima and the character progression was amazing. Season 1 felt more like a teen drama its easily the weakest storyline along with 6b. 6a imo is prolly the best story telling of the whole show

They should’ve added way more fight scenes especially Scott the alpha,like it would’ve been cool if Scott actually transformed to a demon wolf or like whatever he was transforming to in s4 to fight the beast of Gevaudan
