Honestly wolves don’t rank the highest when it comes to physical strength in the animal kingdom. Their talents lie in their coordination and teamwork, and that would naturally translate to werewolves. They’re much stronger than humans, but compared to other shifters, especially those that are solo predators in the natural world, they lose out physically.

@@KateJn , peter may have had a feeling that he may die, so he bit Lydia, and transferred his memories,(even making her meet the teen version of him),to her and manipulated her to do a ritual to that brought peter back to life. Lydia blew powdered wolfsbane, which knocked Derek out, and placed mirrors to reflect the moonlight onto peter's hand, which was placed to hold onto Derek's arm. When the moonlight came into contact with peter, it healed his scars, and brought him back to life.
