Still having not enough anecdotes about Sir O'Toole's professional and private life. I'm truly amazed. What a vivid, sharp energy! Unique, brilliant, wise and superb person!

I love the way he respectfully turns and acknowledges the band as he comes on, and then they stand and applaud him in return. We need more genteel, kind moments like this in our mad, selfish world. Bravo!

I shall be in love with him as long as I breathe... just saw What's Nrw, Pussycat?, and he abd Peter Sellers had me roaring with laughter. But Dean Spanley will always be my favourite (and My Favourite Year). ❤

Mr O'Toole is a great storyteller. He has the most graceful command of the English language. I strive to speak as eloquently as does he.

What a impeccable spoke suit he wore for this particular interview. A gentleman from head to toe.
Just love his gestures and the cute way he smiles and dandy way he puts his hands. He is such a gentleman and somehow quite child-like in this interview. He is more handsome now than he's been for a long time. He grew better-looking with age and more happier. Some of his interviews he seems quite sad. Poor darling. RIP Peter.

Unfortunately they had to settle for Richard Harris............
@nathanielpreston53775 жыл бұрын
Actually after Richard Harris sadly passed away, his family considered his close friend Peter O'Toole as a replacement for The Prisoner of Azkaban but unfortunately the studio feared that Peter O'Toole wouldn't be healthy enough to carry on for the rest of the franchise. Even though he passed away 2 years after The Deathly Hallows part 2.
@eileendoherty53174 жыл бұрын
Agree! Richard Harris was perfect as Dumbledore. He had that warmth and twinkle in his eye that Michael Gambon didn't bring to the role. O'Toole would have brought that same warmth and twinkle to Dumbledore.

Unfortunate that they settled with Gambon. Although Gambon admittedly got better, he was still just wrong imo. Harris was amazing.
