I'm scared about what the future holds for my children. I am 61 still toiling away at a minimum wage job £9.50 per hour. I was supposed to retire at 60...then 65...the 66 then 67 and it is soon rising to 68 and probably higher. I am exhausted from the job I do but cannot give up as I would have no income...it feels like the billionairs ( who we all know use the polititionas as puppets to get more wealth) want us all to die before we can claim the pension that we have paid into. They want all the land to be used for housing ( as they own the building companies or have shares in them) I feel poweless and useless... what is the point of it all?
@angryherbalgerbil2 жыл бұрын
The nazi slogan above the concentration camps was "work shall set you free"... Everyone was sold into industrial slavery following the implementation of the Domestic system, and the aftermath of the previous world wars... Wars which were orchestrated by the same people implementing the covid out break, and the current escalation of global tensions. Those of us that saw our parents caught up in the factory trap and the money trap, we realised that it was a prison system built around us. "To repeat the same actions and expect different outcomes is the definition of insanity" Stop being paid to build your own prison. Realise the slave drivers for what they are, just because the whip is invisible doesn't mean there isn't a hand lashing away to squeeze more labour out of you. The horror in all this is that the only people who won the last world wars, were the globalists who orchestrated them, just as they'll now try and wipe the board clean again as more people wake up from the psychological head games and methods of control and compliance. Quit your job, spend time with your family, you'll regret not doing so when the bombs start falling.

Essentially the Tories have sold out to 'Big Money' and not necessarily UK?USA money, the Russian's were accommodated while Putin was not too much of a threat, now they are not entirely certain what to do. Londongrad still exits not all Russian assets have been identified and addressed! Boris knew all this, he also understood what the donor cabal wanted. Certainly not a UK as part of a regulated EU. He dilivered, and he has done well, not as well as he hoped, but not bad. Now when in opposition he will exert all his energies into supporting the Tories to control the media space to regain power. He is proper old school, a journalist who puts in the effort to research his stories and back up his claims. Something that far too much of what passes as the media in the UK seems to have forgotten how to do. If we could have a thousand Peter Obornes clones dropped into newsrooms across the country, I suspect the country would be a much better place as the quality of journalism would improve overnight.

When I came across this report from Peter Oborne, I was pleasantly surprised his views weren't of the daily mail as I did read his column and generally saw through it for what it is, an extreme tory leading paper by Lord Rothermore, where you unashamedly slag off the opposition like Starmer, inferring he's just as bad as johnson with partys etc without a shred of evidence! ...excellent report this showing the system for what it is! ...whoever they get to replace Johnson is of the same mould, as no one person stood up against this guy and say enough is enough! If this next leader goes for tax cuts, as they're all tempted to say, no way will they penalise the super rich, who's tax cuts will be just as "severe " than the rest of us, if indeed it happens.

I kind of disagree. We each have a vote and you take each and every opportunity to speak to your local MP and vote against the conservatives, as you wish. The entire west is going through a troubling period right now and will be for several years to come. That's true in United States, Canada, EU etc. BoJo is a Grade A clown with a flexible relationship with the truth, but I would advise against wholeheartedly swallowing the media's assessment. The picture that is currently being painted is that because Boris had drinks in the garden of No. 10, because he knew that bloke had been told off for groping = every single current negative issue is of his making because he's completely incompetent. Further, not only should he be swiftly turned into a burnt offering, everyone he has ever spoken to must also go. Also, his wife is.probabky quite evil. Probably their child as well. Don't get me wrong, he does very much need to go - but let's keep a bit of perspective here. There are some major global issues at play at the moment (some of which BoJo has been oddly decent on) and banishing the entire front bench to briefly exorcise pent up anger actually doesn't help the country as a whole. At some point soon we are going to find out if Angela Rayner and Kier Starmer are going to quit over their party (if they get a police fine). At this rate, we risk ending up with Bob (the guys who Hoover's the House of Commons) running the whole country. He's perfectly nice, but he's overly interested in flat earth theories for my liking. We need, I need, all of us need, to not get so riled up by the media and journalists and news and radio pundits and just remember that our democracy works and is the envy of large parts of the world.

Sure, but that is the nature of the Tory party. It is not a party rooted in a large and active membership. Its members are few and inactive, as you say, but the trend started much earlier. The party never encouraged or fostered or facilitated voting. They prefer the smallest possible number of people voting (and the ID requirement fits in with this, to reduce the voting population), because it would give them an edge, as it has done in the past. I am afraid, the whole concept of the party is not one of a party that represents the voters at large. Moreover, in the latter part of the election against Corbyn, Johnson was clearly losing ground as people were becoming aware of his shifty attitude, particularly on the NHS, when Corbyn produced evidence of planned privatisation. At that point, the press kept quiet, he was taken out of public sight (hiding in fridges for instance) in the hope that the closeness of the election would not prejudice his winning it. Where were the press at the time? Whose bidding were they doing?

Peter Oborne is that rare thing in political journalism; someone who actually takes his job seriously and tries to report and analyse what is actually going on rather than merely playing to a particular gallery. He and I would have little in common politically and I rarely read his columns because I never read the publications in which he has been published (and I suspect those outlets are now being progressively closed to him), but when I have come across him I've been impressed with his willingness to be honest about his fellow Tories. Politics is about the struggle between people and classes with conflicting interests, and I believe that in this struggle there is only one side for whom integrity and honesty comes naturally because the job of the Tories and their media allies is to persuade the working class to vote against their own interests and this involves constant mendacity. However, there are rare occasions when such principles can be seen on the other side, and Mr Oborne may be one of those untypical examples.
