Is he ashamed that he is dating a nurse and you are trying to give her a NHS status hero. So it means anyone who is dating a NHS worker should have a status. Don't give status were it doesn't fit. Consort is not a title. It means "spouse". It is the condition of all spouses of reigning monarchs. They are never called consorts. Prince Philip was prince consort, Queen Mum, queen Mary were all queens consorts. Diana would have been queen consort. Catherine will be queen consort..... Camilla is queen consort. They all are queens.
