Hi Mary and Peter. Well today in England it was announced that the vertex medication will be available free on our NHS free social medical care here for CF patients in 30 days. Totally amazing and life changing for so many people. So glad your looking so well.

Growing up my grandmother always bought these Christian family movies for us and one of them was called Seasons of the Heart.. I loved it and have always remembered the lesson it taught. So I know exactly what you mean by seasons 😄❤️

Faith Jarrett, I don't know of the movie you referenced; however, I do think that people with chronic illness can totally relate to the concept. I have several pastors in my family (related to the Moody's of Moody Bible), and it is a common theme for sermons. I'll have to watch the movie you mentioned. Thanks! :)

It looks like the approval of this new tripple therapy drug has pushed vertex and the uk's nhs to finaly make a deal on orkambi... im so excited that we can now get orkambi its been 4 years in the making. im hoping it wont be to long before we get this new triple therapy drug also.

How does health insurance work in the us? In France, where I live, everybody has automatically a sort of basic insurance that gives them free access to all urgent cares and a small refund for other cares. And then most people pay for an extra insurance to have a better refund when neaded!

Amy Gn Girl, you don’t even want to know. It is a never-ending cluster (and I am a health care provider in an urgent care). There is no free basic health insurance unless you have very special circumstances and jump through a million hoops.
