Actually Pete was just the opposite. He had very low expectations of himself and extremely high capabilities. I knew him, and of all the thngs he was, he was really just a good guy.
@BigWill2k6 жыл бұрын
in my opinion he had impossibly high expectations which he could never possibly achieve and therefore it dissapointed him and his self deprecating humour reflected that.

@Stardigrade P they weren't all bad. If you read his family's blog, he was in a relationship with some pretty decent ones, a girl named Mardie for example. It's such a shame though that the bad ones made a stronger impact on him

+Kirsten Richards Good comment & Exactly!, hate those interviewers, like on Fox news, for one, that want to talk over the the person their interviewing and interrupt them, - it's like STFU, i don't want to hear the interviewer talk, your not why i am listening to this! - Yeah Jackie here knows how to interview people, like Pete here she lets her audience enjoy the guest, the reason for the interview in the first place. ;)

Such a great interview, probably the best one I've seen with him. The personalities kinda flow and the conversation doesn't feel forced. God I miss him.

We have same eyes nose lips brows and limbs. I have to verify as I have recently found out that I had been exchanged during birth. I don't resemble my parents and grandparents. My biological mother knows that I had died due to SIDS. I will have to find out she's in 🇺🇸.

It's a real shame he passed away before I had even heard of the band. I got really into their music when I graduated high school, but Pete passed away when I was 13. I'd give my right leg to go back in time to see one of his concerts and get an autograph.

What a great interview! Very funny as Pete was always such a comical character. Thanks for posting these up Jackie, Pete is one of my favorite bass players and Type O is one of my favorite bands. It's just so sad how he's not around anymore... I'm sure he's happier now though than when he was in this world.

Just finished all parts of this interview, and a few others too. -Very nice series of videos interviewing Pete Steele, here one of the bestThanks Jackie you did a wonderful job. Pete is(unfortunately 'was') awesome Was very interesting to me as a Type O fan since '93. I really like Pete he's cool man. I really identify with him and his viewpoints in this interview and others - I feel his pain. Sucks he's been kinda screwed over by quite a few close people to him. Judge story was interesting, I don't think Josh had any idea the Judge would react that way. i do totally agree with him about the internet social sites, not familiar withthe older myspace but FB is the ultimate Narcissitic Playground. As he said people can remain totally anonymous and talk all the trolling shit they want, and not get their fuckin' face smashed in -Keyboard warriors, Facebook commandos suck man! How to start a fight on the internet???? - Give your opinion and sit back and wait for the onslaught! -its fucked up, so I pretty much backed off FB or check it occasionally but don't post much if so just a few words. Anyways great work here Jackie.

i dont believe the story about josh and the gravestone, he was kinda fidgety when talkig about it and the story doesnt make sense which means its probably not true. I think Peters a great guy but in my opinion it seems like an attention seeking, borderline personality disorder type thing to do..
