I watched John and Daryl Braithwaite performing together two years ago, so about one year after this video was uploaded. John's voice sounded near unchanged to his voice when the Whispering Jack album in the 80. Even though the concert was in Darwin, and as hot as balls, he moved around the stage and belted out so many of his classics, except Sadie! Daryl had aged big time.

I know this was a while ago, and I met John once too but never had the chance to ask but....I would love to know when the "Johnny" voice turned into the "John" voice. Was it during the Uncovered release in 1980 or during his time in LRB? Somewhere in there he learned to BELT with his voice. :):):)

I don't know. As I have an asked him this question. But I would be saying listening to his career discography it would be when he joined Little River band as he had to sing the former songs by Glenn that were sung in a powerful voice.
