I think John is one of if not the best male vocalist ever. The amount of emotion, passion and power he sings with is epic. Mic control, breath support, and range and agility in his voice is mind blowing. And the way he belts out those notes it’s a wonder he hadn’t blown his voice out but I saw him perform when he was about 70 years old and still sounded pretty much the same as back then. I’m just so glad that there are so many reaction channels discovering what we’ve had the pleasure of for 50 years, especially the overseas reaction channels getting John’s music out there. Great reaction.

Great reaction one of the best by far I've seen . John was born in Dagenham Essex in England then moved down under. Been a fan since 1986 when this song was first aired in UK and I was first introduced to his phenomenal voice and been hooked since. Love all his songs he is such a powerhouse. John can sing anything and I just love Gethesmane shows more of John's musical side just amazing. He is a legend. I love and appreciate amazing singers and for me John and Adam Lambert are 2 of the best singers on the planet.

Agreed !!! ♥️🥰 💯 % 200% even .. or more ! 😆 .. no bounds, John is absolutely phenomenal... one of my personal top favourites since the mid to late 80's..to this very day (obviously haha 😄) ... mid to late 80's being my early childhood years. As, I was born 79..but, John has always been a force of musical bliss in my life

This was the Chain Reaction tour in 1990. My favourite tour of his. John is the reason I’m an entertainer. He inspired me at 4 years old when I saw the Whispering Jack concert on TV and I was hooked. The greatest Aussie export to never be exported!

Over the years I have watched dozens and dozens of overseas youtube reactors to JF, and every one of them watch him with open mouths in awe and sometimes tears of emotion. He is a stunner in talent, looks, charisma and larrikinism. Your reaction was impressive too. 👏👏👌

I don’t know if the performance with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (the concert where he sang Help for the last time, one of his best in my opinion) was before or after this concert. But I believe he sung it better in that concert. It could’ve been that he was just interacting with the audience more in this version so we didn’t hear as much of his voice. Either way he is out of this world amazing . 🇦🇺

He's such a larrikin & can't you tell he just loves being up there singing his heart out. Loved him when I was growing up & then his Whispering Jack times but I never really realised he was such an accomplished singer. Having watched a few reactions by vocal coaches I am starting to appreciate his phenomenal range, skill, technical abilities & passion. Love his microphone techniques too with both the mic & stand 😀. Great reaction. Can tell you are an Aussie...so much more invested than other reactors. Those of us who grew up listening to him understand this. Please react to his version of Help particularly the one with the MSO. It is my favourite version of any of his songs. Thanks

The video of this show is from at least two performances in December 1990 - it can clearly be seen in the editing during this song. Not sure about the audio, but I take it that the audio is from one of them (not spliced). I'd SO wish that they'd release both shows in their entirety - along with some of the other totally amazing shows only found on You Tube, like the uncomparable Expo show from 1988. And you're right - I've never heard a better voice than John's :)

Amazing reaction my friend Peter!!...I have seen your reactions to Dimash, the best male singer of the world (In my personal opinion)...Now I want to invite you to meet, who is considered one of the Best Female Singers of the World (The best in my personal opinion)...The passion and dedication when Dimash is performing a song can only be compared with the person who has influenced him to sing leaving everything on stage: His idol, the queen, the incomparable, the Goddess: Lara Fabian.....Lara is the best female singer and performer of the world...She is a lyric soprano with a amazing vocal range and incredible breath control...She speaks and composes in 5 languages and sings in more than 15 languages....That's why she is the inspiration for Dimash and several singers around the world...You can see covers of her songs on KZbin made by singers of the stature of: Dimash, Diana Ankudinova, Polina Gagarina, Forestella, Sissel Kyrkjebo, Floor Jansen, Diana Navarro, Giulia Falcone, Morissette Amon, Gabriel Henrique, Rimar, Katrina Velarde, Cakra Khan and others...Please react to her songs, all masterpieces, in LIVE versions, because Lara is more impressive when she sings live, so you can see why she is the idol of Dimash...Try to do it in this order and almost all songs are from the same Lara’s concert “From Lara With Love” in Montreal 1999, one of her best works: 1) Je Suis Malade (Singing in French)...2) Caruso (Singing in Italian)...3) Je T'AIME (2002 Live version in Paris Singing in French)...4) Perdere L'Amore (1999 Live version Singing in Italian)...5) Adagio (1999 Live version singing in english)...6) Broken Vow (1999 Live version singing in English)...7) You are Not From Here (1999 Live version singing in English)...8) Quédate (1999 Live version singing in Spanish)....9) Ti Amo Cosi (2019 Live version Singing a trío with Dimash and Aida Garifullina)....I hope to see you first reaction soon and if you don't mind, I'd like you to mention me as the person who recommended reacting to Lara...Here you have the link of her amazing performance of the son>g “Je Suis Malade”....kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3m2qp5qiKynq7s

Yeah, John Farnham’s a legend. What’s there that he couldn’t do? Allround the greatest singer and entertainer-. As a session musician I was part of his latest Christmas songs-project, but didn’t get to play live with him…. Hey, I was wondering if you’ve heard of Swedish fusion trio Dirty Loops and their singer Jonah Nilsson? If one day you’ll find a minute you might want to check them out (link below to 9ne of their songs). He’s also a pretty incredible vocalist (tenor). Being an Aussie myself, just love John Farnham & also love your reaction style. Well done. First time watching your Chanel & have immediately subscribed. Please bear with me on this rather long post as I’m introducing a phenomenal talent whom you probably haven’t heard of. This may be the only request you receive for this artist, so I’m asking you to make an exception & react to her. Her name is Amira Willighagen who won Holland’s Got Talent at the age of nine Which received over 40 million views & another that received in excess of 70 million views. Subsequently, I’ve listed just 3 of her performances, together with the age for your benefit as follows. …. … Ave Maria by Gomez at the Canisius Church at age 11. …. … O Mio Babbino Caro / Your love at age 13. This is the live concert performance & two abbreviated songs on the one video. …. … Sound of Music Medley at age 15. Amira sings one octave above the original by Julie Andrews & absolutely nails it. I can’t give links as I don’t know how via my iPad. Sorry. Every reactor who reacts to Amira have been totally gobsmacked, No wonder she’s taken the Operatic world by storm. Cheers Graeme. ps. Would appreciate a thumbs up if this post has sparked enough interest to react.

Ha! This is what I mean! No comparison to meatloaf... that's an insult to John. He has a powerful rock voice too. But he also has power, projection, clarity and a pureness that is sooo rare. And it's so effortless!!! Sorry, but, meatloaf (may he RIP) never compared vocally even if he was a great performer. John had that in spades too. I am so sad I missed out on seeing him live. His performance with the MSO were just epic!
