@@w4rl0rd93a few decades ago a few palest factions along with arab socialist (baath) jordanians atempted to assassinate the king and do a coup, this all in cooperation with syria who stationed its tanks and army at the border. The same way lebanon was almost anexed into syria, so jordan would be. The project is greater syria and is an assad dream (the father not the current guy). This is what made jordanian monarchy an american ally and voilá they need usa protection cause the region isn't friendly with usa allies or anything murican. And yes, greater syria is something iran is interested in, their project is persia empire via proxy and puppets. Why syria baath and not iraq baath? Well cause the assads are allawites which is a sect in shiism. There is more info that doesn't fit a yt coment.

First, it pronounced Apple at cha like I’m gonna throw this apple at’cha. Second, it’s very isolated and culturally its own thing. My family goes back 8 generations living in Eastern Ky. I’m the first in a line of 8 to move out of the mountains (moved to the Bluegrass because there are few jobs where I’m from). My children don’t have an accent but my daughter does say some words like me. I miss the Appalachian mtns. The majority of the kids I graduated with in 2004 are either dead, in prison, or moved away. OxyContin was originally called hillbilly heroin. Once the pill mills got shutdown and fentanyl came around….its been all down hill from there. Though I can say Virginia of all states recently passed a law where you can grow up to 4 plants per person per year. The Purdue family destroyed a lot of lives.

The outpost is there to block the main highway to the Mediterranean ports. It complicates the logistics for Iran. Iran has had to tiptoe around the most diverse groups of people to legitimize its rule for as long as it has existed. The hegemonic powers have been destabilizing these groups to undermine the central power for the last few hundred years. It’s only natural for Iran to form a security centered government. Once Iran becomes an economic powerhouse these groups will be more harmonious. This is the main reason Iran has been under sanctions for such a long time.

@Khachaturr

@@johnschwartz1641 Iran’s economy has never been based on production. It’s very strategically located for an exchange market and a trade hub. For hundreds of years Iran connected the west market with the east. I am not an economist but Iran is located in a terrain that is not suitable for industrial production. Its strength is providing or withholding trade security. It’s been unable to perform its roll since the Europeans learned to sail. With the demise of the west they are getting ready to take on that roll again. They had nothing to do with the fall of the west. The destruction of Family unit and unifying religion and belief system has been responsible for that.
@johnschwartz1641
@johnschwartz1641 2 ай бұрын
@@Khachaturr So Iran's economic power comes from its ability to block trade routes? And the West is doomed because it doesn't have strong families or religion? Sorry to break it to you, but trade goods aren't delivered by caravans anymore, and traditional values are worthless. Modern societies in Europe, North America, and East Asia largely ditched superstition and misogyny a couple generations ago and we're still very much in charge of the world. Africa and the Middle East, where religion and family remain strong, exist in our shadow.

@@johnschwartz1641Iran is actually pretty industrially adept. Not nearly the best or biggest but lots of mid-level manufacturing in large part because of the sanctions. Not as far as this guy is concerned. Just a bunch of Arabs, that we think we have the right to boss around since the 20s.

A bit over exaggerated, I have never seen a Persian person oppress a non Persian Iranian in any big city other than when it comes to joking around. This oppression he is talking about is just straight out racism you can also find in middle of nowhere in Texas, except if it comes to groups like Kurds because they have foreign backed separatists militias. The fact that you have an Iranian Christian defending the dictatorship in Iran is insane…

When you say "literally", that signals that you arent speaking hyperbole, or being facetious. Maybe stop doing that so as not to sound ridiculous?
