Ken Bright, the conductor of Skipton Brass band and also the window cleaner of all the shops and business's along with George Smith in Skipton High St for many years. Brian Short, the Town mayor, he and his wife owned and ran The Yorkshireman bar and nightclub where Boots now stands. Got thrown out of there a few times!! Great days.

The original show ran for 20 years from 1958 to 1978. Also a successful stage show in London for 10 years.
