I've sold my gear but view this and suddenly have this nearly uncontrollable urge to gear up and fly again. Others have said they've learned a lot from you, Peter, and I agree great job. I wish I could take my stuff to a field and do some ground handling. Sadly, after about 18 months from the start of my training until the time I quit, I only had about 5.5 hours of flight time. That cost me many many hours of driving and the gasoline. Because there were no suitable places locally I needed to drive at least an hour. I've learned a lot, Peter, Thanks.

Hi Peter. I'm only commenting now but I've watched several times already including the evening I saw it released where I was spending the night on one of our launches up in the mountains. You seemed to have solved one big problem I was having. I had a huge fear of being lifted off , drug or knocked down at the point where the wing is about 1/2 way up. Taking a few steps forward to the wing slowed the wing coming up and put a lot less tension on the lines. So I appreciate you breaking it all down and if you just happen to feel like it, maybe get a few tips when you have your full size glider out. :) Thanks a bunch!!!

I only wish I could stand still and hold my wing overhead. I currently try hard not to get dragged around. This is without doubt among the best GH videos I have seen. Oh, and show off. Hahahaha. Jokes apart, one of the best GH tutorial I have seen. Very helpful. Subscribed to your channel.

Many thanks again for another excellent video. I am still at the stage where I am trying to get to grips with the basics of ground handling. Then I intend to go to a school to learn about the rest.

You are welcome, when you learning with school you have insurance and you do not need to damage your own wing :)

Hi Peter, thanks so much for this ground handling tutorial! I get some one-on-one but on my own sorta now with new students. I just watch this over and over and try to visualize. But it makes sense and helps! I even showed my wife so she understands the complexity :-).
